Design-Build for Domestic Water Piping Repairs

Project Summary Description:

The General Services Administration (GSA), Northeast and Caribbean Region, is seeking an experienced contractor to perform the Design-Build the replacement of Potable Water Piping, Restrooms Renovations, Cistern repairs, and is seeking qualified General Contractors (GC) interested in providing design-build services. The construction will be at the Almeric L. Christian Federal Building and US Courthouse in Saint Croix, US Virgin Islands. The design-build project is to replace the potable water pipes, restroom renovations, cistern repairs, replacement of storm sewer piping, new solar water heating system, and sanitary pipe lining for underground piping on the first floor. This project objective is design-build for; the replacement of the potable water piping system with CPVC pipe, replacement of the storm sewer piping with PVC pipe to resist corrosion, and renovations of public restrooms of the building to comply with the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS), and building cistern repairs. The offeror selected will be required to supply all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the complete services required by the Work Scope under the resultant contract. Design-Build elements include but are not limited to design, construction services, fire protection, lighting, mechanical and electrical - as well as associated work in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, as indicated in the scope of work and general project requirements of Division 1.
