Description
The closing date of the solicitation is March 22, 2022 at 2:00pm. The proposed contract is to be SOLE SOURCED to 3M Company (76381). The parts requested are direct replacement for existing shipyard equipment and 3M Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).The parts requested are "one for one" replacements and must be procured from the OEM (or his authorized distributor) in order for the equipment to operate to shipyard and OEM performance standards. Any other parts and/or accessories not from the OEM would cause malfunction of equipment there by rendering the equipment inoperable and causing delay in the vessels scheduled work package.
