Description

The Mississippi Farm Service Agency State Office requires moving services to assist with disassembling, packing, moving, and storing files, records, furniture, supplies, equipment, as well as storage services to store goods while the building is being renovated and other agency belongings during the lessor’s major renovation.

Moving and packing services are required at the USDA FSA Office at Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Building, 6311 Ridgewood Rd, Suite W100 Jackson, Mississippi 39211. Moving services should begin the week of September 9, 2024.

A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday August 27, 2024, at 10:00am CT at the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Building, 6311 Ridgewood Rd, Suite W100 Jackson, Mississippi 39211. POC for the site visit is Mr. Charles Penner, Charles.penner@usda.gov, (601) 896-3940. It is highly encouraged that offerors interested in participating attend.

Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable quote. Award is made to the quoter who demonstrates that they meet the minimum technical requirements below, and then is the lowest price.
To be considered technically acceptable, the offeror must meet the below criteria and return with the quote:
1. Submit a Technical Narrative. The contractor shall provide a narrative that addresses their knowledge conducting moving services. The narrative shall provide the extent of experience in professional moving/relocation within the commercial office and industrial trade. The narrative must include the capability to provide the necessary personnel to perform the services. The narrative should be supported by evidence that gives credibility to the statements made by the offeror and in turn gives the Government enough information to understand and gain confidence in what the offeror is stating. The narrative should not be a restatement of the RFQ requirements nor copy the language in the SOW. The narrative should be no longer than 5 pages.


2. Submit Past Performance Information. Provide references for at least three (3) commercial moves,
completed within the last three (3) years of similar size and complexity. Details must include the date of the move, the name and location of the client, contact name and telephone number, square footage of the move and a description showing the services that were performed. (At least 1 of the references must be for a project where the Quoter’s representative(s) was personally involved, and on-site during a comparable move while in the employment of the company.)


3. Provide proof of insurance.


4. Submit pricing in accordance with section vii.
