2. Extension of closing date to 8 July 2024
3. Notification to have product samples to NSWC Crane no later than 19 July 2024
4. Notification of acceptance of RAMSHOT – TAC pow der in addition to Wester C1700 or SMP 843X provided a certification of product origin is included.

ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for 5.56mm Long Range Ammunition Special Ball, MK262 MOD 1 DODIC AA53

This is a competitive requirement for a three (3) year firm-fixed-priced indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract.  This action is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 325920, size standard 750 employees and the non-manufacturer rule applies.  Expected contract ceiling is $7,500,000.00, see solicitation for further details.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR subpart 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
