Description of Benefits

Notice of Intent to Consolidate and Bundle

In accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation 205.205-70, notification is hereby given that the Government intends to consolidate and bundle the following contracts in support of Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Acquisition Group (SAG) Systems Engineering Services into solicitation N0042122R0182.

     - N00421-18-D-0015 supporting Specialty Systems Engineering (Tekla Research, Inc. (Small))

     - N00421-18-D-0016 supporting Sustainment Systems Engineering (Avian Precise Company, LLC (Small))

     - N00421-18-D-0017 supporting Systems Engineering (Science Applications International Corporation (Large))

The measurably substantial benefits that are expected to accrue from this consolidation and bundling are as follows:

     - Cost savings in an amount greater than $9.4 million (see FAR 7.107);

     - Efficiencies gained fromt he use of a single touch-point for end users;

     - Avoidance of duplication effort;

     - Reduction in Fovernment administrative costs.
