Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center located in Lexington, Kentucky, intends to issue solicitation 15B10923Q00000004 for the requirements of: Wastewater Grinder (quantity 2). This solicitation is a not a set‑aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333310, Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing. Contract pricing must include all costs associated with product and delivery (FOB Destination) to: Federal Medical Center Lexington, 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, KY, 40511. Delivery will be before August 31, 2023.
The Government intends to make single award based on best value. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: price, past performance, quality, comparison with other offers, and administrative cost.
Each vendor is required to be registered in www.SAM.gov , complete with representations and certifications. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 8, 2023, and will be posted to: http://www.SAM.gov.

Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is May 23, 2023; however, this is a projected estimate and offerors should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due.
