Description

AMENDMENT 0001 - update date for the submission of site visit access forms and provide an additional email address. Please note that if you already submitted your site visit access forms to the contract specialist, you do not need to re-submit. This project is in support of the Military Ocean Terminal, Concord (MOTCO), located in Concord California and will consist of the following: Construct a backup pow er generation plant, comprised of an array of three diesel powered electrical generators providing approx. 6MW of capacity, 2MW load bank, 1200-amp switchgear, 72,000-gal capacity fuel storage tanks for a 14-day supply of fuel, and approx. 12,000 linear feet of underground duct bank with 500kcmil pow er distribution conductors. Construction of the generators will require site prep f or the generator enclosures; tier-4 emissions control equipment; construction of a refueling lane to service fuel storage tanks; and a fuel polishing unit. Construction of the underground duct bank will consist of trenching and direct-burying of PVC conduit; installation of electrical lines and manholes; installation of duct bank conduit and conductors affixed underneath an existing vehicle bridge; and tie-in to existing electrical infrastructure on the installation, including break-before-make interconnection to PG and E utility grid. Per DFARS 236.204(ii) the magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.The only INTERESTED VENDORS LISTS (plan-holder/bidder list) is available via SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for self-identifying as interested vendors and viewing other interested vendors. Contractors should check SAM.gov frequently for any changes to the interested vendors list and notice. **Note**: Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/content/home prior to award of this contract. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) website, link provided below. Instructions on getting access to the PIEE Solicitation Module and submitting your proposal were provided with the Pre-Solicitation posting for this requirement and are also available via the PIEE website training module. Registration in PIEE is a multi step process and can take several days so plan accordingly. If you are not registered, the United States Government is not responsible for providing you with notifications of any changes to this solicitation.
