Description
INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to Verint Systems, Inc. for a project entitled “Medicaid.gov Customer Satisfaction Assessment and Improvement Services Support”, 175 Broadhollow RD, Suite 100, Melville, New York 11717. This sole source award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 235 (C) (1) as implemented by FAR6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A justification and approval is currently being processed for this requirement. This requirement is intended as a sole source procurement because the Verint/Foresee website survey software is currently in use by the agency and they are the sole proprietary manufacturer owner.
CMS REQUIREMENTS: The purpose of this procurement is to continue to support the agencies programmatic need to provide website survey and satisfaction work for InsureKidsNow.gov and Medicaid.gov website. CMS has a need to continue to use the Verint software to conduct survey and customer satisfaction analytics for CMCS websites. It was determined that Foresee was the best option to ensure ongoing compliance with agency customer satisfaction and survey standards.
