Synopsis:

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Big Flats Plant Materials Center 3266 State Route 352 Steuben County, Corning, NY 14830. 

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to replace six existing doors, including frames and hardware; furnish and replace shop/warehouse and greenhouse gutters, including gutter guards; repair/replace three small areas of shop/warehouse siding; and furnish and install new gutters, including gutter guards, to the office, seed barn, and equipment barn.

This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business set-aside.  To be eligible for award, interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov

A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.

The anticipated period of performance for this project is 15 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors.  The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $16.5M.

In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
