Solicitation: Construct Automated Multipurpose Machine Gun (MPMG) Range at Camp Roberts

The USPFO for California intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract for construction services to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to construct an Automated Multipurpose Machine Gun Range (MPMG) Range at Camp Roberts, California. The MPMG shall be of permanent construction in accordance with the project?s plans and specifications.The MPMG shall be constructed over the existing machine gun range. Integral characteristics/items of the MPMG shall include the automated MPMG firing lanes and target emplacements, support buildings (range operations control tower, storage building, classroom, ammunition breakdown building, and controlled waste facility), and organizational vehicle parking. The scope of construction services shall include all utilities, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, roads, walks, storm drainage, parking areas, and site improvements as specified in the plans and specifications.Major features of the work to be performed include (but are not limited to)Preparation of existing ground surface for drainage, range facilities and target emplacements,Excavation and installation of range support facility foundations,Installation data and electrical cabling for control of the target emplacements,Connection of utilities to the existing systems,Construction of firing positions,Construction of range support facilities, andProgramming of system controls.
