Description
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting
Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity
(IDIQ) award, firm-fixed-price (FFP), 100% Small Business Set-Aside action for Water Taxi Services in
support of the Commander Naval Surface Force (CNSL) to accomplish specific requirements described
herein and in the resultant solicitations/contracts. The policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 -
Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5 – Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial
Items, and FAR Subpart 19.502-2 Total Small Business Set-Asides will be utilized.
As a result of information obtained from responses received while conducting market research, this
requirement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside action. The NAICS code applicable to
this procurement is 483212. The size standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code is V224.
This requirement is to provide water taxi service for Commander, Naval Surface
Force Atlantic (CNSL) assist teams, Afloat Training Group (ATG) visits, Engineering Assessments
Atlantic (EAA) and other personnel to train and support all Navy afloat units operating in the Virginia
Capes region, year round. Personnel will be transported to and from the vicinity of the Rudee Inlet
Fishing Center and Lynnhaven Inlet via water taxi.
