Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24621R0045, Project Number 590-19-113 Upgrade ADA for Various Buildings, at Hampton VA Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Dr., Hampton, VA 23667. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. FAR 36.204| Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Scope of Work: Provide construction services for the removal and replacement, and all associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing as per attached plans and specifications at Hampton, VA Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials (to include two (2) ADA compliant temporary ramps, two (2) new automatic door operators and associated operating accessories), equipment, supervision, and expertise required to perform general construction, alterations, removal of existing structures and construction debris as per contract drawings and specifications at buildings 137C, 114, and 83 located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hampton, VA 23667. Project Completion: The duration of the project is currently estimated at 180 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Size Standard of $39.5M. The VA will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 1/29/2021 via Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov/. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided with the solicitation.
