Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) notice issued in accordance with FAR 15.209(c) to conduct market research.

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFQ in the future.

The National Park Service (NPS) is not, at the time, seeking proposals or quotes and will not accept unsolicited proposals or quotes. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future procurements.

The NPS is seeking qualified and capable vendors to respond to this RFI as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to accomplish the requirements for any of the services listed within.

In support of this effort, the NPS is conducting market research to further refine requirements and establish the best acquisition approach. Please note that requirements defined to date may change before issuance of a final RFP/RFQ.

PURPOSE:
NPS is seeking more information regarding modifying a government owned flatbed stake body truck, located in Greenbelt, Maryland, with the intend for this modification end result to be a fully operational truck mounted attenuator as required by the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) specifications.
