Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (supply) prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses in effect are IAW FAR, DFAR, AFFARS and all other related guidance. 

The solicitation number is FA481924QA029

This acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 321113, Sawmill and a Product Service Code (PSC) 5510, Lumber Related Basic Wood Materials. The 2023 Small Business Size Standard is 550 Employees.

Offers (Quotes) received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated IAW FAR 52.212-2(a) using the following factor(s) to determine best value:

a. Technical capability of the item/service offered to meet the Government requirement; and
b. Price (evaluation of price shall be the sum of all line items, including options if applicable).

Please note the following: 1) Pricing submitted in response to this RFQ shall remain in effect until June 15, 2024; 2) Contractors interested in submitting an offer (Quote) must acknowledge the requirement that prospective awardees shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of a contract agreement, IAW FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management. Also, IAW FAR 52.204-13, System for Award Management Maintenance; a contractor is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data within the SAM database and is required to review and update their SAM registration on an annual basis.

Questions and Government Response: All questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. CST, March 16, 2024. Any questions that are received in conjunction with this solicitation and the corresponding responses by the Government will be posted as an Amendment to System for Award Management (SAM), website: www.sam.gov.

Contractors shall submit all quotes by 21 March @ 02:00 PM CST electronically by emailing the Contract Specialist, Amn Fidencio Posadas at fidencio.posadas@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, TSgt Justin T. Merrit at justin.merritt.1@us.af.mil and with the subject line "FA481924QA029 - Quote".

The 325th Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida is currently processing a procurement action to support the 801 RHTS. The requirement entails the acquisition of multiple lumber and building accessories necessary for the guard shack competition supporting 12 teams during the readiness challenge. The materials include various items such as nails, hurricane ties, sheathing, and prime kiln-dried southern yellow pine lumber, as detailed in the attached list of materials. The Contractor is expected to furnish all required parts, equipment, materials, and labor in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards. Delivery of materials must be made to Tyndall AFB, Florida, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
