Description

Amendment 0002-Instructions to Bidder Updates, Period of Performance Extension - Revision to Clause 52.211-10, Due date for receipt of bids extended to September 14, 2023, Updated SF 1442, Wage Determination updated. The project will convert the existing switchgear to a combined emergency/standby switchgear, which will involve replacing and procuring new 12kV switchgear sections as well as a new smaller low voltage section, to avoid expanding the building. The work will mainly occur in and around building 5B and will be designed to meet VA Electrical Design Manuals standby/emergency electrical system topology. The emergency system will provide power to the Mental Health Inpatient/Outpatient (MHIP/OP) facilities and the Community Living Center (CLC) as well as standby for the entire facility. The magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Site Visit will be held August 21, 2023 per enclosed Itinerary.
