Description

The intent of this project is to establish a 600-foot-wide Fuel Management Zone (FMZ) by reducing surface, ladder and canopy fuels to create forest conditions that are safe for conducting prescribed burning and serve as a strategic firebreak during a wildfire event. This will be accomplished with a combination of mechanical mastication and manual treatment of undesirable vegetation.
