Description
This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services was prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested.
The solicitation number W913E522Q0018 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This requirement is available for full and open competition.
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is
237130 – Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 million.
The Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory’s (CRREL) Engineering Resources Branch (ERB) in Fairbanks, AK has a requirement for installation of fiber optic cable at its Farmer’s Loop Site. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish installation tasks as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Please reference the attached RFQ for submittal instructions and applicable provisions and clauses. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract to the offeror whose quote represents the lowest price technically acceptable.
The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: ability to meet the technical requirement listed in the PWS and Section L, Instructions to Offerors, and price.
