Description

The Contractor shall update room finishes and install new ligature-resistant plumbing fixtures in various spaces within the 5th Floor Inpatient Mental Health (IPMH) Unit as detailed in the Technical Requirements section, project documents, and VHA Master Construction Specifications. Updates include new flooring, new wall protection, new handrail/wall guards, paint/patch walls, new acoustical ceiling tiles, and new ligature-resistant sinks, toilets, and shower panels, among other work items. Completion of this
project will bring the IPMH Unit into compliance with the Mental Health Environment of Care Checklist (MHEOCC), as well as providing a necessary update to the unit finishes.

Amendment #1 is issued to provide: responses to three RFIs, provide pre-bid sign in sheet, and amend the times for the bid submission and virtual public bid opening. 

Amendment #2 is issued in response to RFIs 4 and 5. 

Amendment #3 is issued to add Attachment IX to the solicitation and respond to RFIs 6 through 9.
