DRY-DOCK REPAIR OF TOWBOAT JC THOMASThe work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, fittings, equipment, tools, power, heat, water, etc., and performing all work on the m/v J.C. Thomas. The J.C. Thomas is a 4600 hp towboat that has hull length of 150? and width of 42?. The gross tonnage is 790. The boat was built in 2000 by Jeffboat, LLC.The contractor shall furnish the necessary facilities for this contract and shall bear the expense of any movement of the towboat while it is at their facility and in their possession. Possession will start at the time when delivery is made by the government to the contractors? site. Possession ends when the government picks up the workboat from the contractors site following a minimum of 4 hours sea trial period. All contract work shall be completed within 250 river miles of Captain Anthony Meldahl Locks and Dam, river mile 436. Any quotes received that require work to be performed outside of 250 river miles will be considered nonresponsive.PLEASE NOTE: All amendments must be signed and submitted with your quote.
