The Motor Tubes require a manufacturing capacity capable of handling thin wall (~.140in) 4130 tubing, 5 inches in diameter, roughly 70 inches in length. The Motor Tubes also require OD threads, internal lock wire grooves, and several radial countersunk holes.  The Motor Tubes will also require hydrostatic testing and certification, requiring the vendor to utilize government furnished hardware while developing the procedure of assembly, testing and disassembling.

The contractor shall provide, design, and fabricate all necessary tooling to manufacture, dimensionally inspect, and test the components, and provide necessary data.

This requirement is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The method of source selection will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The NAICS code is 332999 and the PSC code is 1340.
