Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:
- Title: Site Preparation for 3D Printer Installation
- Tasks: Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment associated with Site Preparation for 3D Printer Installation and Data and Power Installation. Contractor shall field verify all conditions and dimensions.Contractor shall make sure configuration of building’s electrical system will meet electrical code requirements of local jurisdiction of state of Washington. Tasks include the following:
- Configure West CFU Building’s Electrical System for 3D Printer
- Provide and install (1) power distribution unit (PDU) three-phase 240V 80A for 3D Printer at West building #11012. There is an existing CAT 6A cable that can be used to connect 3D printer to LAN.
- Provide Ventilation for 3D Printer Room
- Provide and install (1) exhaust vent (~10” 750 m^3/hr) for 3D printer that travels through Dust Collection/Air Compressor room to the outside.
- Provide Air and Power Supply for Processing Station’s Pneumatic Circuit
- Provide and install (1) CAT 6A cable data drop (single phase 220V 14 A) for Processing Station #1 at West building #11012.
- Provide and install air compressor or air compression supply line (6 bar) at Processing Station #1.
- Provide and install (1) CAT 6A cable data drop (single phase 220V 14 A) for Processing Station #2 at West building #11012.
- Provide and install air compressor or air compression supply line (6 bar) at Processing Station #2.
- Split Compressed Air Supply for Blast Cabinets
- Split compressed air supply line in RM 107 to allow connection to Blast Cabinet #1 and Blast Cabinet #2 (80 psi per Blast Cabinet).
- Privacy Requirements
- Add a privacy partition wall in RM 115 (Shipping and Receiving).
- Install Data and Power in West Building (CFU)
- Install 9 data drops total and 2 power total.
- Configure West CFU Building’s Electrical System for 3D Printer
- Location: Vancouver VAMC Prosthetics V20, 11012 & 11014 NE Fourth Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98662
- NAICS Anticipated: 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, $45M
- Type of Contract Anticipated: FFP
- Period of Performance Anticipated: TBD
- Magnitude Anticipated: Between $100,000 and $250,000.
Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
