Air Compressor System - Vandenberg Space Force Base

This is a combo synopsis solicitation for a whole facility air compressor system, Commercial, Small Business Set-Aside, prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, FAR Subpart 19.5 and FAR Part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 333912, “Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing” with a size standard of 1,000 employees.

Please see the attached SF 1449 solicitation document and salient characteristics document for contract line item numbers (CLINs), quantities, units of measure, description of requirements, applicable clauses and provisions, and other information pertinent to this acquisition. Offerors are required to utilize the SF 1449 solicitation document to submit their quote, following the instructions contained therein, reference FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, and the addendum thereto.

The contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) per the CLIN structure reflected in the attached SF 1449 RFQ (Supplies or Services and Prices/Cost section).

All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov). Lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award.

SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for Thursday 07 July 2022 beginning at 0900 at Building 8190. Please make sure you arrive with plenty of time to process through the gate and make it to the site visit location on time. To process through the gate more efficiently, please fill out the highlighted portion on Attachment 3 – VSFB Access Request Form as soon as possible and return it to Jessica Ecker at jessica.ecker.1@spaceforce.mil no later than (NLT) 06 July 2022 12:00 PM PDT.

In order to receive a pass individuals will need the following information:

• Driver’s License/State Identification
• Valid vehicle registration or rental agreement
• Proof of insurance
