Description

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EURAFCENT), Naples, Italy plans to issue a Request for Proposal that will result in the award of one Firm Fixed Price contract for the supply of electrical power to US military installations throughout Italy, including Sicily, Campania, and Friuli regions. The estimated total annual consumption for these installations is approximately 156,874 MWh (Megawatt Hours).

The period of performance for this contract is estimated to start on September 1st, 2024 and will be 12 months from the date of the start of service with a 12-month option period of performance for a total of 24 months. The successful contractors shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools materials, equipment, incidental engineering and transportation, except otherwise specified herein, necessary to perform these services.

This procurement will utilize Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection, requiring the submission of both technical and price proposals.

The solicitation; as well as, all notices/amendments related to this solicitation will be posted to the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://www.sam.gov). The Solicitation will be posted in the coming weeks. Hard copy of the solicitation will not be provided. Response to solicitation shall be in English. The Price Schedule shall be in Euro.

It is the responsibility of the offeror to check the website daily for any updates/amendments. Prospective offerors will have access to the solicitation at www.sam.gov by searching for the solicitation number, “N3319124RITALYELEC” (no hyphens). If you register for this solicitation, you will receive a courtesy e-mail notifying you of all amendments for this solicitation that are posted on the website. Registering and receiving email notifications for this solicitation does not release the offeror from the responsibility of checking the solicitation daily for amendments.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website with an “active registration” at the time of proposal submission, in order to be considered for award of any United States of America, or Department of Defense contract.
