Design-Bid-Build Construction of Chain Link Security and Safety Fence for the Survivability, Vulnerability, and Assessment Directorate (SVAD), White Sands Missile Range, (WSMR), New Mexico

The proposed procurement is a total small business set aside, and thus competition is limited to bidders identified as a small business under NAICS is 238990, with a size standard of $16,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Bidders attention is directed to Section 00 21 00 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 13 May 2022, with bids due on or about 13 June 2022. Bidders are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process.

THE PROJECT consists of the following: Install safety chain link fencing, vehicle gates, and pedestrian gates around the SVAD facilities adjacent to Bldg. 21225 at White Sands Missile Range, NM.  Project also includes demolition and disposal of existing fencing, construction of a new concrete pad, and signage installation.

THE PROJECT will be advertised as an Invitation to Bid.  Proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.  Questions of a technical nature should be addressed to Mr. Steven Hartman at: steven.a.hartman@usace.army.mil. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only.  Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well.
