Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice.  The purpose of this notice is to identify sources capable of performing the required services in this geopgraphic location within the period of time required.  Information provided will be used to help determine the government's procurement strategy.  

This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ).  Quotes received will not be considered and no award will be made from this sources sought notice.  

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations is seeking sources for the removal, dismantling, recycling, and disposal of excess office furniture, equipment, appliances, and other like items owned by CBP from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.  A list of items requiring disposal is attached (see Attachment 1).  This list is subject to change.

An on-site dumpster will be provided, but all furniture, materials, equipment, appliances, and electronics not able to be discarded in the dumpster shall be removed from the area and discarded off-site.

The contractor must comply with the Port of Seattle's Site Access Agreement.  The contractor will be required to carry liability insurance in specified amounts in accordance with Port requirements.  In addition, contractor employees will be subject to background checks.

The period of performance is expected to be approximately 15 days from the date of award.

1.  Your business name, address, contact information, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), and CAGE code.  Please state whether you have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.  

2.  Whether you qualify as a small business concern under NAICS code 562111 - Solid Waste Collection.  The size standard is $41.5 million.

3.  Whether you are an eligible small business concern under any of the following small business programs:  the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Program, the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program, the HUBZone Program, or the 8(a) Program.

4.  A  brief description of your capabilities and experience

5.  Whether you serve this location 

6.  Any questions that you have
