Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Regional Directorate intends to solicit, on a 100 percent competitive small business set-aside basis, using simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 for the procurement of propane supply and delivery to the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg, PA in support of the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Weapon Systems Support (WSS). The proposed acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order and will provide for a base period of twelve (12) months with three (3) one-year options. Performance is expected to begin on 05 June 2024. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and small business size standard are 324110 and 1500 (number of employees), respectively. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically on both the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil) and the SAM website (www.sam.gov). A hard copy of the solicitation WILL NOT be made available. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action at this time based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The solicitation is expected to be released within 7 days of this posting. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring these websites for posting of the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation that may be released. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
