Sources Sought/Synopsis Notification - Inveris M17 Pistol Simulator

This is a Sources Sought / Synopsis Notification (SS/SN) as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).  A Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) are not applicable for this query and no solicitation document exists for the request.  This SS/SN is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP, RFQ, nor as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition.  Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.  Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this SS/SN.  All information received in response to this SS/SN that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. 

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at West Point, NY is interest in the items / services listed below:

This is strictly a Brand Name only requirement.  The requirement is in support of the software that was specifically designed by Inveris Training Solutions to function with West Point's Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) System.  The software is copyright protected.  Inveris does not allow its software to be supplied or sold by unauthorized third parties.  

This requirement is currently being set-aside for Small Business concerns provided that 2 (two) or more qualified Small Businesses respond to this SSN with sufficient information to support the set-aside.  

The NAICS Code Qualifier is 335999 and the SBA Size Standard is 500 employees.

This SS/SN is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available.  However, any interested party that believes is capable of meeting our requirement may identify themselves but must submit evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement as an authorized agent of Inveris Training Solutions.  If you are an authorized agent of Inveris Training Solutions, you must submit written proof from Inveris Training Solutions that says you are authorized to supply / sell their products and services on their behalf (* INFO WILL BE VERIFIED *).  All interested parties must provide the following data with their responses: 

1.  Full Company Name and Address

2.  SAMs Unique Entity ID (UEI)

3.  CAGE Code

4.  TAX ID# (aka “EIN” or “TIN”)

5.  NAICS Code(s) (see NAICS Code Qualifier above)

6.  Business Size ("Large" or "Small"… must be stated on your reply)

7.  Company POC, Email, Phone#

8.  Proof (no exceptions) - - 

a.  Authorization letter from Inveris Training Solutions that says you are authorized to supply / sell their products and services on their behalf.  * INFO WILL BE VERIFIED.*

All Small Businesses that qualify for this requirement are encouraged to participate by listing their capabilities and submitting them to the email address listed below.  Vendors that submit capability statements with NAICS Codes that have nothing to do with our requirement will not be considered as a potential source.  Vendors that submit an interest to this notice and do not provide the Authorization Letter from Inveris Training Solutions will not be considered as a potential source.  Any respondent that is actually capable of providing this requirement may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency for evaluation purposes only.
