The Government proposes to acquire the Standard Army Detector Assy (SADA) in support of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The SADA will be placed on the existing indefinite delivery requirements type contract, SPRBL115D0017, in support of the TAGM Program Office.

As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. The data needed to acquire these parts competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation.
