Description
The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). Intends to procure the following services:
Commercial depot level overhaul of US Navy, US Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command and Foreign Military Navy LM2500 Paired Blade Turbine (PBT) Gas Generator Assemblies (GGA), National Stock Number (NSN) 2S 2835-01-032-9125. The LM2500 PBT GGA was designed and manufactured by General Electric (GE) and is utilized by the US Navy aboard many surface combatants including CG-47, DDG-51 and LCS-2 Class ships. Potential awardees must be an established commercial overhaul depot with GE Level IV licensure.
A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the required services is included in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) document. Award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) is intended.
This contemplated contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), “Only One Responsible Source or, for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and No Other Sources and Services will satisfy Agency Requirements,” as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1(c) (1).

Amendment 0001 (See attached): The purpose of this amendment is to extend the required response date/time; and to provide questions and answers to inquires received regarding the solicitation to all potential offerors.
Amendment 0002 (See attached): The purpose of this amendment is to extend the required response date/time. This amendment is being issued to allow the requiring activity to further review the requirement. No questions will be entertained until such time that an additional amendment is issued.
Amendment 0003 (See attached): Solicitation N6449822R4001 is hereby cancelled.
