Description
NASA/Glenn Research Center (GRC) has a requirement for one multi-purpose battery/tester and solar array. See attached Statement of Work for specifications.
NASA/GRC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the item from Anderson Electric Controls, Inc. of Kent, WA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Linda Nabors, Contracting Officer at linda.m.nabors@nasa.gov not later than 5:00 PM EDT on July 24, 2024. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
