Description
DRAFT SOLICITATION NOTICE. Please note that this is a draft version of the solicitation. The final and official solicitation will be forthcoming. We encourage the interested parties to review this draft and prepare any questions or comments. The Government intends to award a five-year Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements type contract for the Forward Repair System (FRS) M7A1 Tool Load. This acquisition will be solicited as a competitive small business set-aside. The FRS is a highly Mobile Maintenance Shop (MMS) mounted to a flat rack transported by a standard Palletized Load System (PLS) and Load Handling System (LHS). The FRS is a maintenance enclosure mounted on a flat rack with lifting capability, air compressor, generator, welding, tool load, and components to fulfill maintenance requirements on the battlefield. The tools and components purchased through this requirement will be delivered to Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) where they will be organically assembled into the FRS container and flat rack. The anticipated delivery schedule for the FRS M7A1 Tool Load will be a quantity of 12 each per month beginning 120 days after delivery order award.
IMPORTANT: The Government intends to require proposal submission via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) - Solicitation module. This will require offerors to be registered in PIEE and have the appropriate access/user role for the Solicitation module within PIEE. This may require action to request and obtain appropriate access/user role for the Solicitation module in order to upload and submit proposals. Prospective offerors are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to begin reviewing their PIEE module access immediately and initiate any necessary request(s) for Solicitation module as soon as possible, and well in advance of the actual RFP closing date/time.
