The Army has a requirement for a Production Readiness Test Assets (PRTA) contract, which is for 6 each MQ-1C (-25M) Gray Eagle aircraft to include base system hardware (1each Common Sensor Payload (CSP)), 3 each EGI navigators, 1 each SAR (Starlite A-kits minimum), 4 each M299 launcher rails, sensor modification kit, data links modification kit, and avionics modification kit.  The effort will include a base year and 4 option years.  The first option year will allow for procuring up to 20 aircraft and 5 complete MB-SGDT setups for the Modernized Expeditionary Ground Control Equipment.  Option years 3 – 5 will allow for up to 16 air vehicles per year and up to 4 MB-SGDT setups per year.  This requirement is subject to the availability of funds.  Authority Cited: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) and 6.302.1(a)(2)(iii)(B) – “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”.  Firms that recognize and can perform the required service above are encouraged to identify themselves.  All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.  The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation.  However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
