Description
The purposes of this project are to clear a working right-of-way along the damaged portion of three of those fences, to remove non-salvageable fence materials and to repair/replace those damaged fences. Specifically, this project includes:
1. Clearing three workable rights-of-way (approximately 3,900’ total) along the damaged portion of three fences.
2. Remove and properly dispose of all non-salvageable steel and plastic fence material from the fences.
3. Reconstruct approximately 3,900 feet of wire fence.
All fencing materials will be supplied by the Kaibab NF at the Tanglefoot work center in Fredonia, AZ. Contractor will be required to transport materials from Tanglefoot to the project site and transport all unused new fence material back to the Tanglefoot work center.
Based on negotiated agreements, a skid-steer mountable brush cutter, wire roller and post driver may be provided by the Forest Service to facilitate clearing, removal and installation/repair of fences discussed in this Statement of Work.
