2 inch Globe Valve

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Control Center, Inc. (a SBA certified HUBZone Small Business under NAICS code 332911, Industrial Valve Manufacturing, CAGE Code 0AVJ1), to meet the Government’s requirement for a quantity of one, 2” Globe Valve as specified IAW Attachment 1 – DRAFT SOW. The authority at 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(5) will be utilized, which states that use of procedures other than competitive procedures are allowed when a statute expressly authorizes or requires that the procurement be made from a specified source. In accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(5), the HUBZone Act of 1997 is a statue that expressly authorizes the acquisition to be made from a specified source. Compliance with FAR 19.1306(a), HUBZone sole-source awards, will be made.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 1:00 PM Central Time on 9 August 2023. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
