Description
U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Medical Services (MED) is seeking a Contractor to provide a Virtual Reality Emergency Training (VRET) Program through a software-based application coupled with Virtual Reality (VR) or Augmented Reality (AR) capability that includes, but is not limited to, a visual screen or display, and state-of-the-art sound, eye or head motion-tracking sensors and/or cameras that will be utilized worldwide for emergency training management to meet the needs of the Diplomatic community. The VR/AR system prepares overseas nursing staff for embassy emergencies and triage care. A pilot program will be created and distributed to 10 countries around the. Upon successful completion of the pilot program, the VRET will be implemented in all Department of State Health Units (HUs).
