Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC Butner), intends to award a sole source contract order to Olympus America. To provide a Full Service Maintenance agreement for a Reprocesses, Scopes, - GI Video’s and Fiber . This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 - only responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 339112. To the best of our knowledge, is the only provider for this service.

Pre-Effective date Repairs
This is a firm-fixed price purchase order for the performance the contract shall cover October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11 a.m. EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Olympus America. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price single award contract resulting from this solicitation.
