Description
The missions includes the ongoing maintenance and repair of wholesale equipment items that are stored at AFSBn-CHS although are not designated as APS-3 assets and are waiting disposition instructions from a commodity command. This mission is called “Landbased”. Support for all missions includes the functional areas of: supply, maintenance, transportation, shipboard Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), deployment or handoff support, and support requirements necessary to synchronize, coordinate and sustain the services required in these core functional areas. Services shall be performed as required in Goose Creek, SC, aboard APS-3 ships, on travel status at other locations and in deployment areas as designated. The nature of the work requires the Contractor to interact with other Government contractors and government organizations (example: depot level modification work teams) during daily operations to prevent disruption of the work. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary services, personnel, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment (except those listed as Government Furnished Property (GFP)) to meet all contractual requirements. The Contractor shall ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations and policies including those of AFSBn-CHS and JB CHS. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure required actions and tasks are managed and recorded in accordance with (IAW) the most current regulations, directives and/or policies.
