Description
The 410th CSB is requesting information on a supplier/manufacturer for Medical Alert/Monitoring devices to be used inside of a Secure Environment.
Requirements:
- System will be composed of wearable buttons and a Central Monitoring Unit (CMU)
- When patient presses button it will cause the CMU to display a visual indicator of which button has been pushed and emit a sound or vocal alert that a button has been activated.
- When patient presses button, the button will also emit a sound to alert surrounding individuals that the wearer of the button is in duress.
- The system cannot have GPS tracking.
- The system cannot have any connectivity to the Internet.
- The system will not have the ability connect to 3rd party monitoring services outside of operational area.
- The wearable button should have a minimum of 650’ range from CMU.
The system will be similar to the Synlett monitoring device shown in attachment#1 . The system was not selected since it does not emit a sound from the button when pushed.
