The Mini-MACC contract will continue to complement the larger MACC design-build (DB) contract. The primarily work will consist of multiple disciplines in general construction categories of on-base facilities for JBER, Alaska. Designs provided to Contractor may be as little as 35% design (basic concept) to a 95% design. The design and engineering required is at the level normally expected of a general construction contractor and considered incidental to the accomplishment of the scope of work provided by the Government. Contracts requiring more than incidental design or the services of a registered architect or professional engineer are primarily reserved for the MACC. The Mini-MACC contract fills the small project magnitude, general contractor niche by providing a stable pool of Contractors focused on continued good performance in order to continue to receive future projects.
