Sources Sought Notification for a Electrical Control Panel for a Marel D166 Plucker Machine
This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response.
The USDA has a requirement for a Electrical Control Panel for a Marel D166 Plucker Machine that was manufactured by Marel in accordance with the attached specifications. Electrical control panel with 12 motor starter relays to independently start the 12 110Volts 3 phase motors that will draw a total of 25k watts (12 x 2.2 kW for each 3 HP motor). The 12 electric motors operated the new D166 picker. The panel must operate in very humid conditions and be contained within a water tight cabinet.
Responses to this notification will help to determine the acquisition strategy for any future solicitation.
Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this sources sought notification by 4:00 p.m. on May 20, 2024, to the attention of Jessica Pacheco, Contract Specialist, jessica.pacheco@usda.gov. All questions are asked to be submitted in writing to the Primary Point of Contract and will be addressed accordingly.
Responses should be no more than 10 pages and include the following information:
Organization Name;
Contract Name, e-mail address and phone number;
Organizations DUNS number;
Business size status for the applicable NAICS code;
A statement of interest in any forthcoming acquisition.
A statement of capability to perform details of the requirement.
