U006--Electrical Training Classes Perry Point VA Medical Center

Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide Electrical Training Classes for the Facilities and Maintenance Staff at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. Description of Work: The vendor shall provide all materials, supplies and a qualified instructor for teaching a class on (1) Basic Electricity for the Non-Electrician and (2) Electrical Troubleshooting for Electricians . Class (1) will be a two-day, 8-hour instruction for 12-students and Class (2) will be a two-day, 8-hour instruction for 12-students. The students are from Facilities and Engineering Service Shops at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. Perry Point VA will provide the training facility for the classroom training and the appropriate space. Training classes will be in Building 82H/classroom. Place of Performance: Perry Point VA Medical Center Facilities and Maintenance Department Bldg. 82H Perry Point, MD 21902 Technical Requirements: The instructor is required to have a minimum of 5-7 current years of experience in the electrical profession as an instructor with knowledge in NFPA 70E, Arc Flash Protection, lock out-tag and the National Electrical Code.
