The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed priced contract to Martin AIJS, LLC., located at 751 Lynnes Cove Road, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii) and on behalf of the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to issue an open market sole source firm-fixed priced contract to Martin AIJS, LLC., located at 751 Lynnes Cove Road, Wadsworth, OH 44281. The rationale basis for the sole source acquisition is that Martin AIJS, LLC. (SDVOSB) is the only responsible source that can provide the technical and warranty support for the NuTrace Fiber Laser Marking Unit.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 339113 - Product of Service Code for this requirement is 6515. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is 800 employees.
Background. The Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502-2235 , has a requirement for surgical instrument laser marking device compatible with CensiTrac. Delivery must be FOB destination 60 days after receipt of order.

Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
