Description

This notice is for informational purposes only.   The 23rd Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order to VTS Aviation LLC. for the purpose of supporting The Adversary Familiarization Training Course for members of the 41st RQS. Ten aircrew (2.5 crews) will receive academics and flight training in dissimilar Basic Helicopter Maneuvering (BHM) against a Mi-24D from 16JUL to 21JUL 2023.  Class will consist of Mi-24D ground familiarization/static and academics on Mi-24D system capabilities, limitations, and employment tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). Two and a half days of flight training with sorties of one HH-60W versus one Mi-24D in scripted BHM events to enhance USAF aircrew understanding on the basic concepts of rotary wing air-to-air combat maneuvers.
