Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, utilities, supervision and management; unless otherwise specified; required for demolition and disposal of 18 railcars at NWSE. This entails four flat railcars, nine box railcars with asbestos, three coach cars with asbestos, and two metal maintenance cars. Each railcar shall be moved to the designated demolition site located at the Receiving Yard by the Government for demolition. This site will be of adequate size to allow for demolition of the railcars, waste segregation, waste load out, equipment staging, asbestos abatement, transport vehicle maneuvering, and support areas. This location is outside of the explosive arc and any other explosive hazard areas. Asbestos abatement of the railcars shall be performed at this location. Award will be by a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
