Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source for a Varian Linear Accelerator Server Upgrade

The U.S. Air Force, 60 CONS, intends to solicit and award a purchase order to Varian Medical Systems, Inc. David Grant Medical Center (DGMC) has a requirement for a Large Combo Server, Tape Backup Device, and Installation. The installation will take place at DGMC and the server upgrade will be conducted on DGMC's existing Varian Linear Accelerator (TrueBeam Model). The award date is estimated to be no later than 23 August 2024. This notice is Not a Request for Quotes or Proposals.  A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only.  However, any information received from any organization, before 2:00 PM (PDT), August 17, 2024, that believes it can meet this requirement will be considered by the Government for a competitive procurement action. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
