Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-01, effective 12-06-2021.
Solicitation Number W912EE22Q0011 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ) with the intent to issue one Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation is being issued under a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing; with a size standard of 1,250 employees. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, requires all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and supplies as needed to perform the complete repair of both the Left-Hand Propeller and Right-hand Propeller for the M/V Fred Lee. All work must be completed in accordance with the statement of work that was prepared for this requirement.
