Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Rock Island District has a potential requirement and is soliciting capability and/or product statements from all qualified and interested businesses to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources.

The requirement is for Mississippi River Projects which requires new Utility Terrain Vehicle with Trade In. The qualified and interested contractor must provide the following requirements:

Basic Specifications: 

- Minimum 82HP, liquid cooled engine

- Miniumum 10.6 gallon fuel capacity

- Unit must come equipped with Park, High, Low, Neutral, and Reverse

- Towing Capacity of 2,500 pounds

- Bed Capacity of 1,000 pounds

- Minimum 4,500 lb winch

Frame/Suspension:

- Minimum 10 inches travel of front suspension

- Minimum 10 inches travel of rear suspension

- Minimum of 14 inches of ground clearance

- Wheel base minimum of 83 inches

- 2in hitch receiver

Tires:

- Extreme terrain minimum of 29 inch tires

Cab: 

- Enclosed cab

- Two hard sided doors

- Roll down side windows

- Covered hard roof

- HVAC System, air, heating, and venting

- Front windshield

Required Trade In:

- Trade in vehicle is a 2018 John Deere Gator 865R, HVAC

- Serial Number: 1M0865RAAJM010426

- Miles: 3222

- Hours: 528

Note: Hours and miles will contine to go up slightly until delivery of new Utility Terrain Vehicle.

Delivery to Lock and Dam 13 in Fulton, IL 25 weeks after award date.

The Government seeks contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit capability and/or product statements consisting of appropriate documentation to include a statement that can provide requirements as stated in sources sought notice and meet delivery timeframe.
