Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision for the miscellaneous repairs to the floating finger pier as identified in the attached Scope of Services (SOS) | drawings. Repair locations on the drawings and the bill of materials were developed by a technical representative from the manufacturer (POC: Mr. Jay Varga,o: 203-292-9138, c: 203-257-6013, email: jvarga@bellingham-marine.com.) Services include righting of a dislocated finger pier float as necessary to perform the respective repairs in that location (see photos 3 and 4 on page 4).

The project site is along the south side of the concrete causeway to the Seamanship Center at the United States Coast Guard Academy located at 15 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT (New London County).

All services shall be completed within 12 weeks of award.

Site visit is highly recommended and encouraged.

Any bidder interested in completing the project is highly encourage to perform a site visit to the locations of the project to become familiar with all the existing conditions under which the project will be performed prior to submitting their bid.
