**NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE** This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of an open market sole source award for Maintenance & Repair and Technical Support of Andover Continuum Controls Equipment currently supporting the Perry Point VA Medical Center located at 59 Ave D, Perry Point, MD 21902. This Notice was initially posted on 9/22/2022 as 36C24522Q1067 under a separate NAICS. This is considered an update to that notice to correct the NAICS. The proposed award is to Small Business vendor FACILITY ENGINEERING SERVICES (FES) CORP (ueiSAM: DNABMUPEWLQ3) which is the proprietary IBMS vendor for the Perry Point VAMC (REF: Attachment A), as confirmed by the OEM, Schneider Electric, (REF: Attachment B). Award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Soliciting from a single source. Only the OEM s authorized vendor is capable of providing the required service. The term of service shall be 1/3/2023 to 1/2/2027. Specific services to be provided include the ongoing Maintenance & Repair and Technical Support for appx. 1,200 collective components of the Perry Point VAMC Andover Control System which includes Andover Continuum Infinet II i2920 System Controllers, BCX Routers, and the Main PC Work Station. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). Product Service Code (PSC) is J041 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment: Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Air Circulating Equipment). Small business size standard is $22.0 million. While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement.
