Description
The U.S. Coast Guard requires one complete set of fully outfitted Appleton folding boom boat and stores handling cranes installed on the National Security Cutter for use as mission critical depot spares. Each of the full assembly crane spares must be identical in configuration, form, fit, and function to the cranes installed previously during post-delivery availabilities and more recently in NSC production. The crane set subject of this requirement is comprised of the following:

- Quantity (2), Appleton Folding Boom Crane, FB90-28, AMD-2367, NSN 3950-01-706-7365 (Cranes #2 and #4).
- Quantity (1), Appleton Folding Boom Crane, FB90-28, AMD-2372, NSN 3950-01-707-1344 (Crane #3) with objective boat launch capability.
The U.S. Coast Guard is requesting the following information for this prospective mission critical spares procurement:
- Are there existing or available procurement paths which may be advantageous to the government which allow expedited order placement for these specific Appleton cranes?
- Are there existing or available business-to-business or government ordering or supply schedules that include the exact or similar models of the Appleton folding boom cranes required for this prospective procurement?
- Are there existing purchase agreements or distributor capabilities for Appleton cranes that would benefit the government in terms of procurement lead time and cost that could be readily used, or modified, for this prospective procurement.
Request respondents provide responses to above questions and provide capability statements by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on December 22, 2023.
